London Larder was devised in 2012 to bring you the ultimate eating and drinking guide to London. It was borne out of a need for up-to-date, quantitative and whole-heartedly recommended places to eat and drink.

Pop Up Barbados

Not a lot links Dalston with the island paradise of Barbados, but this May the Intrepid Seafood Cook will be bringing a little bit of the Caribbean to East London. Pop Up Barbados is a supper club offering a three course meal with a genuine taste of the West Indies for just £25 per head. Even better than that, it's bring-your-own-booze too, which should save a few quid.

On the menu is a starter of Lobster Tropical; lobster chunks with papaya, avocado, mango and coconut shavings, followed by a main of Dorado and Yam Yam; oven grilled mahi mahi with creamy mashed yams, all wrapped up with a sweet surprise dessert. It promises to be a real treat.

Held in the chef's own home in Dalston Junction, this month's event is taking place on 26 May event and kicks off at 7.45pm. To book a seat, visit popupbarbados.com and get your taste buds ready for a sensation!
