Karaoke Box

Smithfield

If you’re looking for a trendy karaoke bar located near the city, than we believe we may have found the ideal place for you. We recently spent an evening enjoying the delights of the newly refurbished Karaoke Box in Smithfield.

The basement location comprises of a large, open bar area with trendy leather seating around the periphery and 16 karaoke rooms of various sizes. The name of the venue (and website) may have you believe it has kept all the best bits of the Japanese theme, but with neon lighting and a projection of a huge fish tank behind the bar, we felt transported back to the 1980s. And we loved it!

The redesigned location at Smithfield is one of three Karaoke Box venues in London. The Soho branch is well established and the sing-along empire has recently expanded with a third opening in Mayfair.

Our room for four people was on the small side, but with six different room sizes ranging in capacity from 4-30 there is something to suit every party. At peak times, rates are £7 per hour per person, very reasonable when compared to other, similar establishments.

The bar staff are friendly and certainly know their stuff when it comes to cocktails – we had several of the best mojitos we’ve ever had the pleasure of drinking, and all in all, you’ll have a great night at Karaoke Box, singing, dancing and drinking you’re way through.
